Mercedes Service A & B and BMW Scheduled Maintenance
Mercedes-Benz vehicles use the ASSYST Plus system to tell you when service is due. A dashboard message shows Service A or Service B, often with extra numbered codes for additional work. BMW uses condition-based service in a similar way. We perform every one of these services to factory specifications.
Service plans
Service A
The minor service, every 10,000 miles or 1 year: synthetic motor oil and oil filter replacement, all fluid level checks and corrections, tire inflation check, brake component inspection and a reset of the maintenance counter.
Service B
The major service: every 20,000 miles or 2 years, alternating with Service A: everything in Service A plus cabin dust/combination filter replacement, brake fluid exchange, a deeper component inspection, suspension and steering check and exhaust system inspection.

1 – Minor basic service (A). 2 – Major basic service (B). 3 – Engine oil and filter. 4 – Brake fluid. 5 – Combination filter. 6 – Dust filter. 7 – Activated charcoal filter. 8 – Air filter. 9 – Sliding roof maintenance. 11 – Fuel filter. 12 – Spark plugs. 13 – Coolant. 20 – Automatic transmission oil and filter.
